Well probably the most distinctive part of the Treadwell droid is the eyes.
I started with a simple Balsa wood construction and paper patterns
Made the base model
Made a bunch of changes
and filled and sanded the parts. I hope to give them a monokote covering after next pay day as well as start on the center mast.

A New Begining
Well it might seem strange that I am starting another droid without finishing T3. Given my current living environment T3 is being stored until I can pick up the project at a later date. T3 is a very expensive project I am hoping that Treadwell will be a much cheaper project to deal with and also small enough to transport easily to Cons. I am basing it on 327-T from the Clone wars series.

My target goal for weight is under 50 lbs total. The central mast structure will weigh less than 10 lbs total. The finished product will have two functioning claw hands that open and close. Functioning shoulder joints that will raise and and lower the arm. Eyes that will pitch up and down and the entire center mast will be able to rotate approximately 170 degrees.
